Ivo Pessanha

Ivo Pessanha is an experienced Project Manager at OceanPact Serviços Marítimos since October 2020, with a strong background in marine geology and geophysics. Previously, Ivo served as Executive Coordinator at CPRM - Geological Survey of Brasil from June 2013 to June 2020, where responsibilities included leading research on machine learning techniques in geospatial data and managing multiple high-budget projects involving a team of 15 researchers. Ivo's earlier roles encompass Technical Manager at FUNDAÇÃO DE ESTUDOS DO MAR, Professor at Universidade Federal Fluminense, and Researcher positions at MAG - Mar, Ambiente e Geologia Serviços and Subsea 7.
