Adam Sun

Managing Partner at Oceanpine Capital

Adam is the managing partner of Oceanpine Capital, as well as the managing partner of Oceanpine Healthcare Fund, a dedicated healthcare-focused RMB-denominated fund.

From 2011 until 2016, Adam served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Concord Medical Services (NYSE: CCM), a leading specialty hospital management solution provider and operator of the largest network of radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging centers in China. He has accumulated rich experiences in overseas investments and acquisitions, including the acquisition of the MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center in 2012 and multiple cross-border projects. He has also served as the Chairman of Board of Directors, MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center.

Adam had previously worked as a Chief Financial Officer for a couple of major domestic companies in China, including a Beijing-based Asia Pacific Medical Group (APMG), where he was responsible for managing the companies under the group and successfully completed several fund raisings, merger and acquisitions. Prior to it, he worked as a business development executive for Universal Studio in Los Angeles, and as a strategy consultant for AT Kearney in Chicago, serving the clients of Fortune companies in consumer, financial and healthcare industries.

Adam received his MBA degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1998 and his BA degree from Foreign Affairs College in Beijing, China in 1990.
