David Lench

David Lench has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. David currently serves as the CFO for Ocean's Balance, a Maine-based seaweed and natural foods business. In this role, they provide finance support to various areas of the business and oversees investor financing. Prior to this, David worked as a Fractional CFO at DBL Consulting and held the position of CFO/COO at Up North Y'all, where they led finance and operations for an ecommerce retailer. David also spent a significant portion of their career at Wolters Kluwer, where they held various roles such as CFO/VP Finance for the Financial Services division and CFO/VP Finance for the Legal & Regulatory US division. Additionally, David has experience at RELX, where they served as VP Finance for a business-to-business publishing division, and at PwC, where they worked as a Senior Manager in Internal Audit. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in financial management, acquisitions, process improvement, and strategic planning.

David Lench has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with a minor in English from SUNY Oneonta. David also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business, as well as an Advanced Professional Certificate in Accounting from the same institution. Additionally, they participated in a study abroad program at York St. John University.
