Liz Burdock

Liz Burdock is a seasoned leader in sustainability and renewable energy advocacy, currently serving as President & CEO of Oceantic Network, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing the offshore wind industry. As a co-founder and executive director, Liz has been pivotal in shaping the organization's direction since July 2013. Previously, Liz founded GreenWorks Partners, a strategic consulting firm focused on sustainable business practices, and co-managed Dow Lohnes Green Solutions, providing strategic counsel in environmental sectors. Notably, Liz has also held leadership roles such as Vice President at Dutko Worldwide, overseeing sustainability efforts in lobbying, and Executive Director of the Chesapeake Crescent Initiative, fostering collaboration between universities, businesses, and government for regional development. Liz's early career included key positions with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and Enterprise Community Partners. Liz holds a Master’s degree in Community Planning from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Frostburg State University.
