Ioanna Karageorge

Ioanna Karageorge is an experienced professional in business operations and environmental policy with a strong background in marine conservation. Currently serving as a Business Operations Associate and previously as a Business Operations Coordinator at OceanX since July 2021, Ioanna also gained valuable experience as a Pathways Program Intern at the US Environmental Protection Agency within the Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Division. Prior roles include being a Radio Host and Music Journalist at WTBU, working as a Social Media Intern at OceanX, and conducting marine mammal research at Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation. Additionally, Ioanna was a Water Ecology & Engineering Field Guide at NYC H2O, where a notable accomplishment was becoming the youngest employee in the organization's history. Educationally, Ioanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Analysis & Policy with a minor in Marine Science from Boston University, complemented by a high school diploma from Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
