Hannah Ker

Hannah Ker is a data scientist currently working at the OCHA Centre for Humanitarian Data since May 2024, with a robust background in managing data-driven projects. Prior experience includes serving as Manager of Professional Services at Plotly from February 2021 to May 2024, where Hannah managed a team of consultants, defined project requirements and budgets, and provided training. Hannah held various technical roles at Plotly, leading the development of web-based software solutions and building production-grade data applications. Additionally, experience as a Humanitarian Data Scientist at MapAction involved enhancing anticipatory action in the humanitarian sector. Hannah's academic credentials include an MSc in Spatial Data Science and Visualization from UCL and a BA (Honours) in Urban Geography from McGill University.
