Sarah Batey

Sarah Batey currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Development and Scientific Operations at Ochre Bio, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this, Sarah held various leadership roles at invoX Pharma, including SVP and Head of Strategy and Programme Management, as well as Vice President of Project & Portfolio Management, from June 2023 to December 2024. Sarah's extensive career also includes a significant tenure at F-star Therapeutics Ltd, where positions ranged from Vice President of Project & Portfolio Management to Principal Scientist from December 2011 to June 2023. Earlier experience includes a scientist role at Covagen AG, where contributions were made to bispecific Fynobody development for clinical trials, and a Research Scientist position at MedImmune focused on protein sciences. Sarah’s academic background features a PhD in Protein Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Chemistry with Biological Chemistry from the University of St Andrews.
