John Shaughnessy

John Shaughnessy, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Northern Region at Ochsner Health, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, John Shaughnessy was the Chief Financial Officer for Central Louisiana at CHRISTUS Health from April 2020 to June 2023 and previously served as Vice President of Finance/CFO at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini from September 2017 to April 2020. John Shaughnessy's experience also includes serving as Controller at McLeod Health for just over a year, CFO at Clarendon Health System for four years, and Senior Accountant at Draffin & Tucker, LLP. Earlier in John Shaughnessy's career, a role as Staff Accountant at Stevens and Keesling was undertaken. John Shaughnessy holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Finance from Valdosta State University.
