Shelley Sullivan Tynan

Shelley Sullivan Tynan currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Ochsner Health, a role held since September 2006, following various positions within the organization, including Senior Vice President & General Counsel and Vice President of Professional Staff Services & Employment Counsel. Prior to joining Ochsner Health, Shelley was an Associate at Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P from 2002 to 2006 and worked as a Law Clerk for Hon. Edith Brown Clement at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from November 2001 to August 2002. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from LSU Law (1998-2001) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame (1994-1998).
