Shantan Kethireddy

Shantan Kethireddy has extensive work experience in the field of technical sales, solutions architecture, and data analytics. Shantan started their career at IBM in 2002, where they worked as a DB2 developer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DB2 for IBM i. During this time, they led projects and developed the DB2 course of study for external conferences.

In 2008, Shantan transitioned into the role of North America Analytics Technical Sales Lead at IBM, where they focused on creating and implementing end-to-end technical sales processes for various data-centric solutions, including Db2, Machine Learning, Data Virtualization, and more. Shantan continued to lead and innovate in this role for nearly a decade.

From 2017 to 2018, Shantan took on the role of IBM Chief Data Officer for North America, where they developed sales strategies, techniques, and best practices to make IBM's enterprise solutions more consumable for clients and enable sellers to target key decision makers. Shantan also played a crucial role in removing technical inhibitors from the sales process and driving value selling of IBM's solutions on a global scale.

In 2018, Shantan joined Ocient as the Principal Solutions Architect and Business Development Leader. In this role, they leverage their extensive experience to work with clients in developing and deploying solutions that align with their business objectives. Shantan helps clients validate the technical, financial, and business aspects of these solutions and develops assets and processes for operationalizing Ocient solutions in various environments.

Shantan Kethireddy completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa from 1995 to 1999. Shantan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering from the same university from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Shantan Kethireddy also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became a member of the IBM Academy of Technology. In 2016, they achieved the IT Specialist Profession Certification - Level 3 from IBM. Furthermore, in 2010, they earned the designation of Master Inventor from IBM.
