Ziyi Zhao

Ziyi ZHAO has a diverse work experience in the fields of strategic partnerships, economic development, leadership consulting, and marketing and business development. Ziyi currently holds the position of Head of Strategic Partnerships APAC at OCO Global, where they are responsible for advising EDOs and SMEs on market opportunities and connecting them to new clients and partners in the Chinese and foreign markets. Prior to that, Ziyi worked as the Director of the China Office at the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Ziyi has also served as a Project Executive at PAWLIK Asia, where they acted as an account manager and consultant, and as a Marketing and Business Development Specialist at ECOVIS Beijing China, where they assisted with consulting and managed customer relationships.

Ziyi Zhao holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Studies from Beijing Foreign Studies University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Ziyi later pursued a Master of Arts degree in German Linguistics and Transcultural Studies at Heidelberg University from 2013 to 2016. Ziyi also participated in an exchange program at The University of Göttingen, specializing in German Studies from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Project Management: The Basics for Success from Coursera and Managing the Organization: From Organizational Design to Execution from Coursera in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
