Deepak Salick

Deepak Salick has a significant amount of work experience in various roles related to operations, quality management, and strategy execution. From 2022 to the present, they have been serving as the Head of Operations/Operations Director at Ocorian. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Operations & Quality Management from 2020 to 2022. Deepak also worked as an Associate Director from 2018 to 2020 at Ocorian.

Before joining Ocorian, Deepak worked at Abax Corporate Services Ltd. (ABAX) where they held multiple roles. Deepak served as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer from 2018 to 2018 and as the Senior Manager - Strategy Execution & Quality Management from 2018 to 2018. Prior to these roles, they worked as the Manager - Strategy Execution & Quality Management from 2017 to 2018, the Alternate Money Laundering Reporting Officer from 2016 to 2017, and the Quality Manager from 2016 to 2017.

Deepak's career at Abax Corporate Services Ltd. began in 2009, where they initially worked in the Legal and Compliance department until 2016.

From 2018 to 2019, Deepak pursued the CIMA Professional Qualification at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, specializing in Management Accounting.

In 2011 to 2012, Deepak earned the Chartered Governance Professional / ACIS degree from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.

Between 2006 and 2009, Deepak attended the University of Mauritius and obtained a BA (Hons) in Law and Management.

In 2017, Deepak completed a Lead Implementer Information Security Management System course at Intertek.

During the same year, Deepak also became an MQA Approved Trainer at the Mauritius Qualifications Authority.

In 2018, Deepak received a certification as a Lead Auditor in Quality Management systems from SGS Academy.

In 2005, Deepak completed the Higher School Certificate from College du Saint Esprit, focusing on Economics, Accounts, and Maths as the main subjects.

Deepak Salick also holds additional certifications, including a Lead Auditor Quality Management Systems certification obtained in November 2018 from SGS Academy, and a Lead Implementer Information Security Management Systems certification obtained in November 2017 from Intertek Academy.
