Sam Butler

Sam Butler has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as an Auditor at Deloitte. Sam then moved on to Lansdowne College, where they served as a Teacher in Accounting and Economics from 2010 to 2011. Afterwards, Sam joined KPMG Bermuda as an Audit Senior in the Insurance Department from 2011 to 2013. Sam then worked as a Senior Accountant at Novartis from 2013 to 2016. Sam also worked as a Finance Manager at Nissan Global Reinsurance, Ltd from 2016 to 2017. Sam'smost recent position was at Ocorian, where they held multiple roles including Financial Controller from 2017 to 2021, and Regional Finance Director from 2021 to present. In their current role, Sam is responsible for providing strategic operational support, budgeting, financial analysis, and overseeing the finance function.

Sam Butler attended Loughborough University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a BSC degree in Sports Science and Mathematics. In addition to their degree, they also completed certifications including the ARe from the Reinsurance Association of America, which they obtained in June 2015, and the ACA from the ICAEW, which they obtained in September 2010.
