Essaid Bilal

Essaid Bilal's work experience begins in 1999, when they joined ENSMSE as the Director of the GENERIC Department. In 2006, they became the General Manager of i3 Internacional de Inovação, also known as Instituto Héliopolis, a platform in Brazil that focuses on innovation, training, and research for businesses and industries. In 2007, they joined Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne as the Director of Research, where they focused on sustainable development in areas such as metrology, expertise, and the implementation of processes. In 2015, Essaid Bilal joined OCP SA as the Senior Vice President of Technology.

Essaid Bilal earned a Master's degree in Géochimie et Pétrologie expérimentale from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1985. From 1986 to 1990, Bilal pursued a Doctorate in Géochimie from Mines Paris. In 1995, Bilal obtained an HDR (Habilitation à diriger des recherches) in Géochimie from Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne. Finally, in 2000, Bilal received a Docteur Honoris Causa in Géochimie et Environnement from the University of Bucharest.
