Giriraj Sharma

Giriraj Sharma is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Ocrolus since June 2017, with a focus on developing a proprietary backend that combines OCR transaction detection, crowd-sourced data validation, and algorithmic reconciliation, leveraging machine learning to improve automation and analysis speed. Prior to Ocrolus, Giriraj worked at Paytm from June 2015 to July 2017 as a Software Developer, enhancing and scaling the Paytm Search Engine and Core Catalog. Earlier contributions include open-source work with Red Hat JBoss Middleware, particularly on the Apache Licensed Open Source Security Domain Middleware Picketlink and SSO SaaS Keycloak, as well as participating in Google Summer of Code initiatives in 2014 and 2015. Giriraj holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, attained in 2015.
