Tatiana Goldstein is a Managing Director with Octagon Capital Group, a merchant banking firm which combines top-tier investment banking and direct investing with an intense focus on building, enhancing and unlocking shareholder value. Tatiana has spent the last 25+ years in private equity and venture capital investing, as well as in strategic and financial advisory roles, and as a C-level operating partner.

Prior to Octagon, Tatiana was the Chief Operating Officer and Investment Committee Member of University Ventures, a venture capital and private equity fund focused on investments in higher education companies. At University Ventures, Tatiana served as Chairperson of the Board of Ponce Health Sciences University and was a board member of Qubed, Inc. Prior to University Ventures, Tatiana worked with various companies, family offices and funds providing strategic and financial advice in buy-side and sell side transactions as well as capital raises including advising in complex transactions with minority investors and distressed special situations. She also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Portview Communications Partners, an Israel-based technology venture fund and as CFO of various operating companies, including Cibernet, Inc.

Previously, Tatiana was a Vice President in the private equity fund Greenbridge Capital Partners where she executed technology and media transactions, and a Vice President in the technology and media group at The Carlyle Group. Prior to Carlyle, Tatiana worked in the media group at Lazard Freres and as a C.P.A in the Entrepreneurial Services group at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Tatiana has a B.S in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She speaks fluent Russian and English, and is an avid tennis player, reader and lifelong learner.
