Becky Cox

Becky Cox is a Remote Clinical Manager at Octagos Health. Becky has over seven years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on exercise physiology and cardiac rehabilitation.

Becky started their career as an Exercise Physiologist with BTE Technologies in February 2013. Becky provided comprehensive medical examinations to executives and corporate employees, and also performed and analyzed tests including resting metabolic rate, DEXA bone density scans, hearing, vision and pulmonary function tests, submax VO2 graded exercise tests, fitness consults, EKG's and stress tests. In May 2014, they joined Baylor Personal EDGE/Baylor Preferred Health as an Exercise Physiologist. There they worked closely with the physician to see that patients receive all exam results on the same day, and also provided fitness consults and personalized training programs for Baylor Preferred Health concierge patients.

In April 2015, Becky started working as a Student Clinical Specialist in CRM and Electrophysiology with PrepMD, LLC. In October 2015, they were promoted to Field Clinical Representative II. In this role, they were responsible for providing support to Boston Scientific sales representatives by conducting in-service trainings on products, troubleshooting product issues, and providing clinical support during procedures. In February 2016, Becky left Boston Scientific to join Cardiovascular Provider Resources - HeartPlace as a Cardiac Device Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for managing accounts, providing product education and training to physicians and staff, and coordinating shipments of

Becky Cox holds a Master of Science from Ohio University in Clinical Exercise Physiology as well as a Bachelor of Science from the same school in Exercise Physiology. Becky is certified by IBHRE as a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist and by the Texas Department of Health as a Hologic X-ray Bone Densitometry Operator. Additionally, they hold certification from ACSM as a Certified Personal Trainer.
