Zafir Imam Khandakar is a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer with a robust background in the petrochemical industry. Currently employed at OCTAL since June 2020, Zafir has successfully executed improvement projects and provided technical support to operations. Previously, Zafir held the position of Lead Process Engineer at Oman International Petrochemical Industries Company L.L.C, contributing to a significant green field PET production facility and engaging in technical discussions with various stakeholders. Earlier roles included process engineering positions at JBF Global Europe BVBA, Octal Petrochemicals LLC FZC, and Indo Rama Synthetics (I) Ltd., where Zafir was involved in project commissioning, operational management, and facility supervision. Educationally, Zafir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, complemented by foundational secondary education in science.
