Anna K.

Anna K. has a diverse work experience background starting as an Information Services Officer at the University of Adelaide in 2013. Anna then transitioned into the role of a Mechanical Engineer at Santos Ltd in 2013. Moving forward, Anna worked as a Researcher and Tutor at UNSW Australia from 2015 to 2016. Anna'scareer then shifted towards cybersecurity as they took on roles at Deloitte Australia, starting as an Analyst in 2017, before progressing to a Security Consultant and eventually a Senior Security Consultant until 2019. Anna then joined ASX as a Cyber Security Analyst from 2019 to 2021. Following this, they became the Security Operations Manager at x15ventures, where they led security incident detection and response for the venture scaler of Australia's largest bank. Currently, Anna holds the position of Head of Security at Octaura, leading security for the electronic trading solution provider. Throughout their career, Anna has shown expertise in security program governance, policy development, incident response, infrastructure-as-code SIEM, and providing security advice in regulated industries.

Anna K. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with First Class Honours at the University of Adelaide. Anna then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace Engineering (Aeroacoustics) at UNSW from 2015 to 2016. In 2019, they obtained the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification, followed by the Corporate Finance Foundations certification from LinkedIn in 2022.
