Sou-Pen Su

Sou-Pen Su has extensive experience in product and project management. From 2006 to present, Su has been the Founder and Product Manager at Octava Inc., where they established a successful Network Audio Video platform serving enterprise, education, and government agencies worldwide. In this role, Su oversaw the development of AV over IP based 4k Video/ Audio Encoders and Decoders for Enterprise Video Distribution and Presentation/Collaboration Audio Video Switchers serving Education Tech. From 2001 to 2006, Su was the Product and Project Manager at Cable Vision Electronics Co., Ltd, where they managed broadband RF Connectivity solutions for major North American CATV system operators. From 1994 to 2001, Su worked at Cisco as a Staff Electrical Engineer and an Electrical Engineer in the Access Network Group. During this time, Su had experience in hardware design, baseband digital reverse technology, and product development and manufacturing in China and Taiwan. Su has also been issued multiple patents.

Sou-Pen Su obtained a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology between 1989 and 1993. Sou-Pen then went on to pursue an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution, which they completed in 2000. In October 2019, Su obtained an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
