Michaella Pain, MPH, CPC, is a seasoned professional in the revenue cycle management field with extensive experience in optimizing revenue processes and leading teams. Currently serving as Senior Manager at Octave since August 2022, Michaella oversees strategic leadership and operational support to enhance billing, coding, and collections practices. Prior to Octave, Michaella held supervisory and managerial roles at UCSF Medical Center, focusing on strategic growth and the implementation of new programs in mental health. Early career experiences include healthcare consulting internships aimed at developing health education tools and managing clinical research projects. Michaella holds a Master of Public Health from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University.
