Bill Heye

Bill has over 35 years of experience managing businesses from startups to large divisions of Fortune 500 enterprises. Prior to helping to start Octavo Systems, he was President, CEO of SBE, Inc. (NASDAQ). He also served as Chairman of PowerFactor One, a fabless semiconductor company.

Bill was Vice President Manufacturing of Mostek Corporation where he led the expansion of DRAM manufacturing capacity with establishment of an assembly operation in Dublin, Ireland.

Bill held multiple positions during his career at Texas instruments including President of Texas Instruments Asia Ltd, Vice President of TI’s Consumer Division, General Manager, Texas Instruments Taiwan Ltd. He originally joined TI in Dallas as a Product Engineer responsible for the 2N696/2N1893 transistor line

He obtained his BSEE at Texas A&M University and a MBA as a Baker Scholar at Harvard Business School. In between his BSEE and MBA, he served in the United States Airforce.
