Davide Bortolami

Davide Bortolami is a seasoned design and electronics engineer with extensive experience in product development and engineering. Currently serving as a Design Engineer for PM/UX at Octopart since February 2024, Davide also holds a position as an Electronics Engineer at Smartbox Assistive Technology, where responsibilities include the engineering of innovative AAC devices that benefit thousands of users annually. As the Owner of Fermium LTD, Davide oversees creative projects that diverge from traditional employer roles, while previously co-founding and administrating Fermium LABS, which produced advanced teaching apparatuses for physics education, serving notable institutions such as the California Institute of Technology. Earlier roles include PCB Design Engineer at REEL S.r.l. and Senior Member & Instructor at Talentlab Civitas Vitae, focusing on educational workshops in electronics and fabrication. Davide's academic foundation includes a degree from Università degli Studi di Padova, attained between 2016 and 2020.
