Ben Walker

Ben Walker is a Senior Data Engineer at Octopus Deploy since May 2022, specializing in the implementation and support of data pipelines and analyzing business and technical requirements. Prior to this role, Ben held various positions at Horizon Power, including Data Engineer and DM&I Solution Lead, where responsibilities included the implementation of enterprise-scale big data solutions and collaboration with stakeholders on complex requirements. Earlier experience includes roles as a Systems Analyst and ICT Functional Support Consultant at Western Power, providing support and developing SQL queries for metering systems. Ben holds a Master of Computer Science in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Security from Edith Cowan University, as well as a Bachelor of Information Technology in IT Security from the University of South Florida.
