Leibenfrost Franz-Anton

Leibenfrost Franz-Anton currently serves as the Director and Country Lead for Germany at Octopus Energy Generation, overseeing investments in the energy transition sector. Previously, Leibenfrost held the position of Venture Partner at Aquila Capital, focusing on the development of Energy-as-a-Service business models. As Co-Founder of nxtgen ventures and nxtgen Infra, Leibenfrost provided support for SMEs in energy transition and related sectors. An independent board advisor at MBA Polymers, Inc., focused on business development and M&A strategy, and co-founder of Future Earth Energy, which developed significant renewable energy projects in the UK. Earlier experience includes advising on strategic investments at Good Earth Power and managing mezzanine financing at Standard Bank Group. Leibenfrost's education includes degrees from INSEAD, University of Vienna, and participation in the Management Development Program at Brown Brothers Harriman.
