Erik Escoffier

Erik Escoffier is a Data Visualisation Engineer at Octopus Energy since December 2023, with a diverse background in frontend engineering and development. Previous roles include Frontend Engineer at Development Seed, Cofounder and Frontend Engineer at satellitestud.io, and Frontend and Data Visualisation Engineer at Global Fishing Watch. Erik's expertise encompasses maps and geo technologies, including OSM, Mapbox Studio, and D3, alongside frontend development skills using Backbone, Marionette, Handlebars, SASS, and Bootstrap. Teaching experience at GOBELINS, l'école de l'image, includes training multimedia development students in programming. Additionally, Erik has freelanced in app and web development for various cultural and commercial clients and holds degrees in Multimedia Design and Development from Ecole des Gobelins and Communication from IUT Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux III.
