Matthew Ireland

Matthew Ireland currently serves as a Team Lead Manager and Inbound Brand Ambassador at Octopus Energy since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Sports Coach at Elkanah House from January 2017 to February 2023, specializing in softball and football/soccer. Matthew further developed coaching skills at Cape Town Spurs FC as an Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach and held positions at Table View FC, University of the Western Cape, and Ajax Cape Town, focusing on football and swimming coaching. Educational qualifications comprise a BA Honours in Strength and Conditioning from the University of the Western Cape, a First Aid Level Three certification from St. John's University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport, Recreation and Exercise Science from the University of the Western Cape, among other courses.
