Nick Chaset

Nick Chaset is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as the Executive Vice President for North America at Octopus Energy. Previously, Chaset held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Ava Community Energy and served as Chief of Staff at the California Public Utilities Commission. Additionally, Chaset acted as a Special Advisor for Distributed Energy Resources in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. Outside of the energy industry, Chaset contributed to youth sports as an Assistant 4th grade girls volleyball coach at St. Thomas the Apostle School. Academic credentials include an MBA from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and a degree from Tufts University.
