Matthew Armes

Matthew Armes is currently working at Octopus Investments as an Investment Manager, Investment Associate, and Commercial Asset Manager. Matthew was previously a Technical Support Engineer at ExxonMobil. Matthew graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Chemical Engineering. At Octopus Investments, Matthew played a key role in managing the largest operational solar PV portfolio in Europe, combining funds management with active asset management. During their internship at ExxonMobil, Matthew gained practical hands-on experience at the Fawley oil refinery in Southampton.
