Sean McLachlan

Sean McLachlan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the investment sector. Sean currently holds the role of Senior Investment Director and Co-Head of the Octopus Sustainable Infrastructure Fund at Octopus Investments since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director and Fund Manager at Aviva Investors from 2016 to 2023. Additionally, they served as a Non-Executive Director at ITS Technology Group from 2019 to 2023, County Broadband Ltd from 2018 to 2023, and TrueSpeed Communications Ltd from 2017 to 2023. Earlier in their career, Sean McLachlan worked as an Investment Director at Balfour Beatty Investments from 2006 to 2016 and as a Vice President in Energy and Utilities at RBC Capital Markets from 1998 to 2006.

Sean McLachlan earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Finance and Economics from the University of Calgary in 1992. Sean later obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst qualification from the CFA Institute in 2003.
