Otis Parsons

Otis Parsons is a seasoned software engineer and operations leader with a diverse background in technology and finance. Currently serving as the first software engineer at Octopus Money since July 2021, Parsons is focused on transforming lives through innovative solutions. Previously, as Head of Operations at Volta Capital, Parsons played a pivotal role in the "Lending for Education in Africa Partnership," facilitating student financing in Sub Saharan Africa. At Octopus Wealth, leadership was demonstrated in building and managing the Business Operations team, while at Matterport, Parsons successfully established EMEA operations post-acquisition of Virtual Walkthrough, a founding team member of the company. Otis Parsons holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Aberdeen.
