Ian Croston

Ian Croston is an experienced executive with a strong background in engineering and operations management, currently serving as General Manager at Octric Semiconductors Ltd since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ian held General Manager positions at Coherent Corp. and led product development and innovation at Tracerco Ltd, where significant transformations in the product development portfolio were achieved. Ian's interim role as Head of Manufacturing Engineering at Legal & General Modular Homes resulted in a 15% increase in manufacturing capacity. With a decade-long tenure at HID Global, Ian oversaw global manufacturing and operations, alongside engineering leadership across EMEA. Additional experiences at Pelikon Ltd, JDS Uniphase, and GEC-Marconi Research Centre further solidified Ian's expertise in product development and engineering. Ian holds a degree in Engineering and Materials from The University of Sheffield.
