John Briggs

John Briggs is an experienced information security leader currently serving as the Head of Information Security at OCU, where they define and deliver the group-wide information security framework while aligning security with business objectives. They have held various roles, including Lead Auditor and Deputy Information Security Sector Manager, where they managed compliance with UKAS-accredited standards and led internal audits. Prior to their current position, John served in the British Army and has also contributed as a Co-opted School Governor at Shakespeare Primary School, focusing on health, safety, and estate management. John holds a Level 4 Diploma in Intelligence Analysis and a Level 3 qualification in ICT and Communication Technologies.
