Omar Obaidi

Omar Obaidi is a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in substation protection and control design for primary and grid substations up to 132kV. Omar has worked at companies such as Morrison Energy Services and GE Grid Solutions, focusing on HVDC transmission systems and Voltage Source Converter schemes. With a background in electrical and energy engineering, Omar has also served as a UCAS Ambassador at The University of Nottingham, showcasing their communication and leadership skills. Prior to their professional career, Omar worked as a Technician at Al-Obaidi Electrical and Electronic Repair Shop, demonstrating their hands-on repair and maintenance abilities.
