Pilar Ayuso

Pilar Ayuso is an experienced professional with extensive knowledge in agriculture and European affairs. Currently serving as a member of the Consejo at OCU since February 2020, Pilar previously held the position of Diputada at the Parlamento Europeo from June 1999 to July 2019. Between May 1996 and June 1999, Pilar was the Directora General de Alimentacion at the Ministerio de Agricultura. Additionally, an extensive research background was established as an Investigadora at INIA from May 1966 to May 1996. Pilar holds a Doctor Ingeniero Agronomo degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, obtained between 1958 and 1964, and a Diplomada en Comunidades Europeas from the Diplomatic School of Spain in 1983.
