John Zhang

John Zhang, PhD, is a prominent figure in the biotechnology sector with extensive experience in peptide drug development. As the Chairman, Co-founder, and CEO of Mainline Biosciences, Inc. since October 2015, John has been instrumental in creating innovative peptide drug conjugates and bifunctional peptide platforms aimed at addressing significant medical needs. In addition to this role, John serves as a Board Member for Ocugen and co-founded Biopeptek Pharmaceuticals LLC in 2011, focusing on cGMP peptide manufacturing and synthesis. John's prior experience includes positions in CMC Quality at Johnson & Johnson and Quality at Eisai US.
