Dr. Chirag Shah is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and refractive surgery for over 20 years. He is the founder of LASIK Experts based in NJ and PA. It is one of the highest volume privately held refractive surgery practices in the Northeast. Dr. Shah has performed over 70,000 vision correction procedures. His practice is one of the only facilities in the northeast offering full-service refractive surgical options such as LASIK, PRK, SMILE, cataracts, refractive lens exchange, and implantable collamer lenses. He also specializes in treating complex refractive surgical problems like keratoconus, ectasia and other irregular corneal abnormalities using crosslinking and topography-guided ablation therapy. Dr. Shah is also a clinical attending physician at Wills Eye Hospital where he actively teaches residents.
