Donald Notman

Chief Financial Officer at Ocular Therapeutix

Donald Notman is the current Chief Financial Officer at Ocular Therapeutix. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Thrasos Therapeutics from May 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for heading up private equity transactions. From January 2003 to December 2005, they were Managing Director at Jefferies Broadview. Before that, they spent 10 years at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown as Managing Director - Head of Private Placements.

Notman began their career in venture leasing at Comdisco Ventures in 1992. In 1989, they joined SmartPets, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer. SmartPets was a venture-backed direct to consumer pet supply start-up. Donald then spent two years as an Associate at Aegis Venture Funds before moving to Chemical Bank as a Corporate Banking Officer in 1983.

Donald Notman attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they received their MBA. Donald also holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College.

Donald Notman reports to Antony Mattessich , President & CEO. They are on a team with Peter Jarrett - Chief Scientific Officer, Jonathan M. Sparks - General Counsel and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, and Art Driscoll - Vice President, Product Development.
