Melaney Bouthillette

Melaney Bouthillette is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulation development, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. since January 2021, after progressing through roles including Manager in R&D and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Scientist in the New Frontier Innovation Group at Shiseido from January 2018 to January 2021, and holding Senior Scientist positions at Olivo Laboratories, LLC and Living Proof, Inc., focusing on product and clinical development as well as skin formulation. Earlier in the career, Melaney held roles as a Scientist I at Blend Therapeutics, contributing to formulation development for novel drug compounds, and as a Preformulation Scientist at Merck Research Laboratories, where significant contributions were made in pharmaceutical sciences across various therapeutic areas.
