Joe Schachle

Joe Schachle has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joe has held positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Ocuphire Pharma and Opus Genetics, where they managed corporate functions for gene therapy and rare inherited retinal diseases. Joe also served as Vice President at Grifols, overseeing customer experience enablement and global commercial services. Joe has been a board member at CED, supporting entrepreneurship in Research Triangle Park. Additionally, they held executive positions at Parion Sciences, Grifols, Inspire/Merck, and Inspire, where they contributed to commercial strategies, business operations, and integration. Joe's early career involved leading marketing efforts for MedImmune. Joe has extensive experience in strategic planning, product positioning, and commercialization.
