Katie Pederson

Katie Pederson has extensive work experience in the field of special events and entertainment business. Katie currently holds the position of Vice President, Special Events at ocV!BE, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Special Events at ocV!BE from 2021 to 2022.

In 2022, Katie also became an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Business at California State University, Fullerton.

Before joining ocV!BE, Katie worked at Live Nation Entertainment as the Director of Special Events - Orange County from 2013 to 2021. Katie also held the position of Senior Sales Manager Special Events at House of Blues Anaheim from 2011 to 2013.

Their career started at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where they worked as a Special Events Representative at Universal Studios Hollywood from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Katie worked as a Corporate Alliances Graduate Assistant at The Walt Disney Company from 2007 to 2008.

Katie also gained experience at NBCUniversal Media, LLC as a Group & Youth Special Events Associate at Universal Orlando from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Katie worked at Adam Kenwright Associates Promotions as a Client Services Graduate Assistant from 2003 to 2004.

Katie Pederson has a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Global Entertainment Business from Rollins College. Katie also holds an MBA in International Business & Marketing from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University, and as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council, which they obtained in December 2020.
