Matthew Wilkins has a diverse work experience in various roles related to procurement, business development, and environmental conservation. Matthew currently works at Ontario Clean Water Agency as the Director of Procurement & Supply Chain Management, where they lead and manages strategic planning, development, and implementation of procurement agreements. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Procurement Consultant/Corporate Materials Management Analyst at the same company, where they provided analysis and advice on procurement policies and priorities. Before joining OCWA, Matthew worked at Caduceon Environmental Laboratories as a Business Development/Procurement Specialist, managing the business development portfolio and operations in Southwestern ON. Matthew also worked at Windfall Ecology Centre as a Program/Services Representative, assisting in the design and implementation of environmental initiatives. Matthew began their career as an Environmental Technician at Winchurch Environmental, where they were responsible for identifying and addressing environmental concerns.
Matthew Wilkins completed their education in chronological order, beginning with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Project Management from George Brown College from 2007 to 2010. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) in Sustainability Studies from York University, graduating between 2010 and 2013. In 2022, Matthew underwent certification as a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) through the Supply Chain Management Association of Ontario, which lasted until 2025. Additionally, Matthew obtained a certification in Sustainable Energy from York University in 2011.
