Charles Eduardo serves as a Técnico em Elétrica at Ocyan since September 2022, focusing on a Research and Development project aimed at utilizing hydrogen to enhance diesel combustion in vessels, thereby reducing diesel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Responsibilities include monitoring project development, contributing to electrical and electronic prototype adaptations, conducting literature reviews on hydrogen additives in diesel engines, and performing technical visits to offshore units. Previously, Charles has held roles at RIOgaleão – Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim from June 2017 to April 2022, managing sustainability programs and operating airport supervision and control systems. Earlier experience includes technical assistance at Grupo MPE, where tasks involved corrective and preventive maintenance management at the airport. Charles holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universidade Veiga de Almeida and is currently pursuing a Basic Course in Fluid Dynamics Simulation using Ansys at Instituto ESSS.
