Choong-Il Joseph Kim

Choong-il Joseph Kim is a Junior Architectural Designer at ODA New York since July 2022, with prior experience as a Junior Architect and Design Assistant at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group from June 2019 to November 2020. Previous internships include designing affordable housing solutions at Thelius Capital Partners, conducting schematic design for Buffalo's grain silos at STUDIO V Architecture, and contributing to shopping mall design development with CL3 Architects Ltd. in Hong Kong. In 2015, Kim designed artwork plinths for a charity gallery with Groundwork Architecture + Urbanism. Kim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Chinese International School.
