Nathan Longsworth

Nathan Longsworth has had a diverse range of work experience. Nathan started their career as a Data Scientist at CIBC Capital Markets in January 2019, where they implemented modern machine learning techniques in finance-oriented functions and improved risk modeling efficiency by 90%. In September 2019, Nathan joined Home Trust Company as an IT Data Analyst, where they created data visualization dashboards and automated business operations using Robotic Process Automation software.

In May 2020, they joined the Ontario Securities Commission as a Data Scientist, where they authored Python packages and led the implementation of an insider-trading algorithm. Nathan also developed a binary machine learning algorithm to determine customer satisfaction levels with high accuracy.

Most recently, Nathan joined ODAIA in September 2021 as a Software Engineer. Nathan has held multiple roles in the company, including Full Stack Software Engineer, where they have been involved in developing software solutions.

From 2017 to 2022, Nathan Longsworth pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Waterloo.
