Özgür Ünsal

Özgür Ünsal is an experienced professional in the field of information security, currently serving as the Head of Information Security at Odeabank since June 2019. Prior to this role, Özgür held positions at Borsa İstanbul AŞ from July 2012 to June 2019 as a Service Manager focusing on Information Security and IT Risk Management, where key responsibilities included the preparation and maintenance of information security policies, implementation of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, and coordination of compliance audits. Özgür’s earlier career included positions as a Senior Information Security Specialist at IMKB from January 1998 to July 2012, where analysis of network and host-based activity was a primary focus, and as an Analyst at Bilpa A.Ş. from August 1996 to December 1997, contributing to software development for offshore banking. Özgür holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bilkent University, completed in 1996.
