Floyd Lively

Floyd Lively is an experienced Plant Manager at Old Dominion Electric Cooperative since June 2006, overseeing a 510 MW Peaking facility. Prior to this role, Floyd served as O&M Manager at PIC Energy Services and PIC Energy, managing operations for various gas turbine power generation systems. Floyd's career includes positions as Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Technician at Aquila, and O&M Supervisor at GE Energy, where training was provided to local nationals in Brazil for gas turbine operations. Earlier work experience includes roles as Fleet Mechanic and Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, and a foundational career as an Aerospace Propulsion Technician in the United States Air Force. Floyd holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Aircraft Powerplant Technology from CCAF and a certificate in Aviation Maintenance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
