Kam Sowell

Kam Sowell has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. They have worked as a Lead General Revenue and AR Sr. Accountant at Odfjell SE since 2023. Prior to that, Kam worked as a Consultant - EFA (Project Controller) at Deloitte from 2021 to 2023, where they provided financial and technical recommendations, supported multiple accounts, and managed project operations. From 2019 to 2021, Kam worked as an Accounting Analyst II - Pension at Transocean, where they handled technical accounting for pension plans and supported operational teams. They also have experience as an Accountant at Brunel from 2017 to 2019, and as an Accountant III at the Harris County Auditor's Office from 2015 to 2017. Kam started their career as an Accountant I and Purchaser at the City of Nacogdoches from 2013 to 2014.

Kam Sowell, MSA, MBA, has a strong educational background in accounting and business. In 2009, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Prairie View A&M University. In 2017, they furthered their education and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business from the same institution.
