Sam Heavey

Sam Heavey has a diverse work experience across various industries. In 2012, they worked as a Tele Marketeer at ADC Barcode Ltd. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Field Sales Engineer at Libratech, where they focused on activating the Irish market by generating leads and converting them to sales. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Lab Demonstrator at Trinity College Dublin, assisting students with their lab work and ensuring their understanding of the material. In 2016, they joined Web Summit as an IT associate/Analyst and later became an IT Lead from 2017 to 2018. As an IT Lead, they played a key role in managing the IT operations. Since 2018, they have been working as a Freelance/Contractor, specializing in sales, marketing, and research. Notably, they led a team to deploy wifi and network solutions for top-tier venues around the world, working with clients such as Facebook, AWS, and Google. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Odin Vision, where they apply their expertise in developing software solutions.
