Abdul Awwad, EIT, CQM

Abdul Awwad has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Abdul began their career in 2010 as a Sales Associate at Comcast. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Math/Physics tutor at San Joaquin Delta College, where they tutored students, taught small groups, and graded exams. In 2013, Awwad took on the role of Senior Architect/Engineer Intern at Sacramento Area Sanitation District, where they used Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to determine tributary areas and programmed a machine with various parameters.

Awwad then joined Alta Vista Solutions in 2016 as an Engineer Intern. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Krazan & Associates, Inc. as a Lab/Field Technician and Special Inspector/Engineer Technician. During this time, they gained experience in laboratory and field work, as well as inspecting projects. In 2018, they joined Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc. as an Engineer Technician/Special Inspector, where they further developed their technical skills. In 2019, they worked as a Project Engineer/Take-off Engineer at Martin Brothers Construction, contributing to project coordination and take-off activities.

In their most recent position at Odin Construction Solutions, Awwad holds the role of Senior Project Engineer. Since April 2020, they have been responsible for coordinating with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed within schedule while adhering to safety and environmental regulations and ensuring quality control. Abdul also assists in project planning and proposal creation, as well as coordinates submittals. Abdul obtained their Master's degree in Structural Engineering from California State University-Sacramento, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to this, Abdul earned their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies between 2010 and 2013.

Abdul's educational journey started at San Joaquin Delta College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Liberal Arts from 2006 to 2010. Finally, Abdul graduated from Weston Ranch High School with a diploma in 2006.
